A pitch inspection has just taken place, prior to the 1st XV game and all pitches have been deemed unplayable.

With the prospect of the snow continuing into the small hours of Sunday morning and the temperatures dropping below zero, the likelihood is that tomorrow the pitches will be unsafe and unplayable.
