Weighing 13lbs at birth, Alasdair was naturally destined to play front five. He has sacrificed his international career in offshore oil and gas, all so that he can play every fixture in the season.

A key figure in the Caterham School 1st XV undefeated season, outperforming his opposite men in second row, which included Christ's Hospital Joe Launchbury (England & Wasps), and Hurpierpoint's Charlie Matthews (Harlequins). Alasdair ultimately had the last laugh, playing for the Old Cats, something Launchbury can only dream of doing!
